General FAQs

  • Oh, What Fun! is open to the public and is a non-ticketed event, however tickets are required for Santa’s Cottage story time experience and the Peppermint Forest Augmented Reality (AR) experience by Verse Orlando. Holiday-themed food and beverage offerings are also available for purchase.

  • Parking is free in all Lake Nona Town Center garages. Click the links below for directions to our parking garages:

  • Snowfall happens once every hour, each night of Oh, What Fun!

  • Happening nightly (Fridays-Sundays from December 7-23): Santa’s Cottage experience (also open on Wednesdays and Thursdays), the Holiday Market, holiday themed food and beverage offerings, the Evergreen Tree Trail, holiday photo-ops, nightly snowfall happen each day/night of Oh, What Fun!

    In addition to our nightly offerings, additional entertainment changes nightly each weekend.

    Fridays: Santa’s Toy Box Live Acrobatics Show - Be transported to the North Pole during a live, 20-minute experience with modern acrobatic performances featuring aerialists, gymnasts, dancers, balancing acts and more.

    Saturdays: Peppermint Square Snow Days - Join us in “Lake Snow-na” as Town Center transforms into a winter wonderland. Tube down the snow slide, enjoy snow themed entertainment, indulge in delicious, iced treats and more!

    Snow slide: 2 pm - 6 pm

    Stage performances: 6 pm - 10 pm

    Sundays: Family Fun Days - Every Sunday, create cherished memories with the whole family at Oh, What Fun! Sundays throughout the event will feature family-friendly activities and entertainment. Close the evening by enjoying performances from our talented local school groups.

    Special Events: Oh, What Fun! will kick off the season with the Hannukah Celebration of Lights on Thursday, December 7, followed by the official Opening Night and Tree Lighting on Friday, December 8.

  • Somewhere between an interactive museum and a first-generation of the Holodeck from Star Trek, Verse Immersive is an immersive augmented reality experience which puts you at the center of an engaging story. You'll walk around wearing fully transparent headsets while you see and engage in delightful conversations with Peppermint the Penguin, dive into augmented reality (AR) to decorate a Christmas tree and indulge in snowball fights in an enchanted wonderland.   • While we no longer offer the skating experience at Oh, What Fun!, there is much happening during our annual holiday festival. Check out ohwhatfunlakenona.com for all latest experiences, dates and entertainment!

  • The Peppermint Forest tree lot has been replaced by the Peppermint Forest Augmented Reality (AR) experience by @VerseOrlando where you can experience and interact with characters from Peppermint’s hometown in the North Pole. Visit ohwhatfunlakenona.com to reserve your tickets to the experience!

  • Our Evergreen Tree Trail is located along the walkway to Lake Nona Wave Hotel. These Lake Nona community partners have each sponsored and decorated a tree. Scan the QR code next to your favorite tree to cast your vote for your favorite! (You can vote as many times as you want.)

  • Lake Nona Town Center is very pet-friendly, however only service animals will be permitted in Santa’s Cottage and inside the restaurants (except for Boxi Park).

  • Oh, What Fun! will end every Friday and Saturday night at 10pm, Sundays will end at 8pm. Boxi Park will stay open later if you’d like to keep the festivities going.

 

Santa’s Cottage FAQs

  • Due to capacity restrictions, everyone attending the Santa’s Cottage experience (children and adults) requires an individual ticket. Ticket pricing varies by day of the week, see below for pricing detail.

    Wednesdays: $35 per person

    Thursdays: $35 per person

    Fridays: $45 per person

    Saturdays: $45 per person

    Sundays: $40 per person

  • Santa’s Cottage offers a unique story time and sing-along experience concluding with photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Your ticket includes digital proofs of your photos. This ticketed experience will be the only opportunity for photos with Santa at Oh, What Fun!

  • Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting Lake Nona Town Center on select nights during Oh, What Fun! from December 7-23. Visit ohwhatfunlakenona.com/santas-cottage to reserve your spot in advance.

  • We cannot guarantee same-day ticket availability. The best way to secure your spot is to purchase a ticket in advance here.

  • Holiday carols and sing-a-longs, story time, a meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and your digital photos are included in the ticket price for Santa’s Cottage. Click here to learn more.

  • Only service animals will be permitted in Santa’s Cottage.

  • The Santa’s Cottage experience seats up to 30 people during each time slot. If you would like to purchase a private buyout experience, click here to learn more.

  • You can purchase 12 tickets in one transaction, however if your party is larger than 12 people, you can either buy more tickets for the same time slot in a separate transaction or you may choose a private buyout experience which accommodates 30 people and includes complementary milk and cookies.
